HELOX(R) Dry Masonry Construction Pavers and Blocks
Helox(R) construction blocks and pavers permit construction of interlocking dry masonry walls and surfaces. The Helox(R) pavers and blocks utilize an interlocking joint patented in U.S. Patent No. 8,667,752 that provides maximum resistance to shear forces at the corners.
Helox (R) pavers are side interlocking pavers that can install as easily as a flat-sided paver and interlock to prevent vertical dislocation when used on a compacted porous base as a permeable paver, for example, in order to comply with the EPA's storm water run-off regulations. Generally, permeable pavers do not work well on heavily used vehicular surfaces such as roads, parking lots, and the like, as the areas of pavement seeing greater concentrations of traffic, including delivery trucks, push down the surface that is traveled and thus also push up adjacent pavers, after time resulting in ridges that can be struck by snow plows, destroying or damaging the plows and the pavers. Helox(R) side-interlocking pavers can be expected to endure many years of heavy use.
Any desired repeating shape can be accomplished using the Helox(R) joint. If you are interested in receiving a sample, please contact info@hettrichhansl.com.
