Magnetic Pumps and Hydrogen Infrastructure
Our magnetic pumps can be used for a variety of purposes, and are being developed particularly for compression of hydrogen in support of the development of hydrogen infrastructure. The United States Department of Energy (DOE) has recognized that significant limitations exist with respect to current techniques for hydrogen compression. It is believed that this line of patent-pending pumps is enabling technology that can lead to solutions for hydrogen compression problems. It is also believed that these pump designs are capable of highly efficient operation, and can be used both as pumps and generators in differing applications. Currently contemplated embodiments of pumps and our vision for a future hydrogen infrastructure can be reviewed in United States Letters Patent No. 8,011,903.
